Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced COPY EDITOR / PROOFREADER to join their dynamic team. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of brand guidelines, and a passion for delivering high-quality content. This is a 4-6 month contract opportunity that is fully remote (PST time zone).• * CANDIDATES NEED TO BE LOCATED IN ANY STATE THAT IS IN PST TIMEZONECOPY EDITOR / PROOFREADER Responsibilities:• Edit and proofread copy for assigned brands and other projects.• Fact-check copy using reliable sources, ensuring accuracy and credibility.• Collaborate effectively with the Editorial Director and team to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines.• Prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently to deliver high-quality work.• Develop a deep understanding of assigned brands and product categories.• Contribute innovative ideas to improve processes and minimize errors.• Mentor junior team members and freelancers to uphold editorial standards.• Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.• Create and maintain brand style guides and bibliographies.• Adhere to AMA style and other editorial styles as required by brand needs.COPY EDITOR / PROOFREADER Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field• 3-5 years of medical editing and fact-checking experience in a pharma ad agency or medical education setting• Self-motivated and able to work independently• Adaptable to changing deadlines and able to provide creative solutions• Knowledge of AMA style and FDA guidelines for pharmaceutical products and devices• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word), Adobe Acrobat, and/or ProofHQPerks & Benefits:• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance• Life Insurance• 401k Program• Commuter Benefit• eLearning• Education Reimbursement• Ongoing Training & Development• *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.To learn more about this COPY EDITOR / PROOFREADER opportunity, apply now.
